”PZ” is a brand launched by JMC and PAMS, which has been developing and manufacturing heads for Nissan L-type engines and Kawasaki air-cooled Z heads. This time, a pop-up event was held at “Daikanyama Tsutaya” to exhibit the heads and vehicles equipped with “PZ” heads, as well as the progress and manufacturing process of the heads under development.
In the first half of the month-long event, a Fairlady Z S30 equipped with a head produced by PZ was exhibited. Surrounded by neatly arranged books, the S30 brought out a different kind of charm, creating an atmosphere that was nostalgic yet modern at the same time.
n the latter half of the schedule, a Z1 equipped with a prototype of the “HF Z HEAD” head for air-cooled Z will be exhibited.
The Z series has evolved uniquely in their 50-year history since their launch, and in the exhibition space in front of the counter, three KAWASAKI Z were displayed, reflecting the owner's particular needs by PAMS. In addition, Z2 and Z1R tuned by PAMS were also exhibited at the display space on the Kyu-Yamate-dori side. This was a rare opportunity for visitors to see each and every Z with its own unique character.
During the exhibition period, a morning cruise event for FAIRLADY Z S30/S31/S130 was also held by Daikanyama Tsutaya. Although it was drizzling just before the event started, many FAIRLADY Z owners gathered to enjoy conversation with other FAIRLADY Z owners. In the latter half of the event, the sun shone through the clouds, and the beautiful cars lit up by the morning sun after the rain were impressive.
